Sow farms produce and sell piglets on a weekly basis, which are transported to external nurseries, commonly known as weaners. After two months of stay, the animals are transported again and sent to the fattening house. The fattening lasts until slaughter weight is reached.

Such a model of physical separation of animals in different age groups makes it possible to avoid many health problems and diseases and allows breeders to specialize in a selected field and optimally prepare the pigsty.
Agri Plus exercises full supervision over the breeding of sows, piglets and fattening pigs, and the vast majority of animal rearing takes place on the premises of family farms cooperating on the basis of contractual agreements.
Agri Plus operates 29 sow farms, some of which are owned by the Company, while others are contract farms. The total number of sows is around 100,000.

Currently, breeding work is based on the highest quality genetic lines. We use the experience of key breeding companies supplying boars and gilts to breeding herds. We produce gilts for commercial farms on our own.
