The Smithfield Polska group, formed by companies Animex Foods and Agri Plus, won the title of the best employer in the food & agriculture industry in the competition organized by the weekly “Wprost”. The company dedicates the granted reward to its employees and cooperating growers.

“50 best Polish employers” is a cyclical ranking held by the weekly ranking “Wprost”, aimed at selecting companies that offer stable employment under attractive conditions and meet the current social expectations. From among the 500 analyzed entrepreneurs in Poland, jury evaluated e.g., the criteria related to development, increases or employee retention. During this year edition of the competition, Smithfield Polska, Animex Foods and Agri Plus were honored with the title of the best employer in food & agriculture industry. The award ceremony took place on June 14th, 2023, in the seat of Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Smithfield Polska, Animex Foods and Agri Plus, received the award for the best employer already for the third time. This is a huge achievement which additionally motivates the group to raise the employment standards in this, which should be stressed, very demanding sector of the economy. The companies base their strategy on sustainable development, in which one of the most important pillars are people, their development and safety.
