Today we sent the first shipments of food for those affected by the floods in the south of the country. In total, we have already donated 20 tons of Krakus, Morliny and Berlinki products for this purpose, which will go to those most in need. We are working with proven partners in this regard, including the Polish Red Cross, Caritas Poland and Food Banks, among others.
Our support will reach, among others, Wroclaw, Opole and Glucholazy. The situation in the latter locality is extremely difficult, so we have directed additional direct support there. We are operating simultaneously at various points, responding to the most urgent needs of local communities.
In addition to food, bedding products are essential for those affected. That’s why our Animex branch in Krakow has switched part of its production to sewing quilts and pillows especially for flood victims. The first sets of bedding will be sent to the needy already this Friday!
Aware of the scale of the needs, we are ready to organize further transports with help.
