The assembled guests were welcomed by Pawel Golebiewski, CEO of Agri Plus. In his speech, the CEO outlined the investment calendar. Implementation of the Agri Plus biogas plant began in November 2021. Ground works began in December 2021, and the facility’s occupancy permit was obtained in September 2023. In October 2023, energy production began.
Karol Przybyla, Director of Agri Plus Plant Production, spoke next about technical issues. The biogas plant is equipped with one 250 kW biogas engine, which allows it to generate 1,638 MW of electricity per year and process about 50,000 m3 of slurry and 2,500 tons of solids in the form of corn silage supplied by local farmers on an annual basis. As a result of the Agri Plus biogas plant’s operations, valuable digestate is obtained, which will be used in cooperation with local farmers to fertilize fields. This cooperation will make it possible to significantly reduce the costs incurred by farmers for this purpose and will benefit the local economy.
In their speeches, Barbara Studzińska, Świecie Starost, and Maciej Rakowicz, Head of Jeżewo Commune, congratulated the commitment to ecological and innovative solutions. They also emphasized the good cooperation with Agri Plus.
Maciej Kutrzuba, Manager of the Biogas Plant, showed everyone around the area and explained the operation of individual devices.
